This happened to one of my friends and his lovely Fiat 500 with a Bernie sticker on it.

Seeing as we live in NW Iowa, one of the more conservative parts of the nation, Bernie supporters undergo much ridicule, and I defend my beliefs against bigotry and ignorance daily. But I always try to respect the people I disagree with, because at the end of the day they are (usually) good people. Unfortunately, my feeling appear not to go both ways

I’m lucky. There are plenty of people at my school who support Berine (as evidenced by the fact that he just won NE), and the vast majority of those who don’t are still perfectly respectful. Those who aren’t usually don’t get much worse than “rude passive-agressive Tweets”

NW Iowa loves it’s window chalk to vandalize. I went to college there and we were protested by a LGTB rights group. (Then and now I side with the protesters, btw.) Their bus was vandalized too, because that's how you show love to others, apparently. Sigh.
